TABC Seeking Advisory Committee Members

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) is seeking licensees, representatives from regulated businesses and industries, public members, and other professionals to join the Commission's newly established advisory committees. Learn more in the notice below.

TABC is responsible for protecting the public safety and welfare through consistent and efficient enforcement of the Alcoholic Beverage Code and related rules.

Section 5.21 of the Code authorizes the Commission to establish advisory committees it considers necessary to accomplish the purposes of the Code and the agency’s mission. In 2021, the Commission by rule established three advisory committees responsible for providing important technical knowledge and industry expertise that can provide the Commission and TABC staff real-world insight. The board members include licensees, representatives from regulated businesses and industries, public members and other professionals.

Advisory board members are appointed by Chairman Kevin Lilly. There is no financial compensation for membership; however, members who are selected to serve enjoy great satisfaction in knowing the significance of their membership and their impact on the professions they serve.

If you're interested in becoming a member of a TABC advisory committee, please submit a letter of interest by scanning the QR code at the bottom of this page or by clicking this link to our online form.

If you have any questions about the application process, please contact TABC’s Human Resources Division at TABCHR@tabc.texas.gov.
