Stakeholder Meeting on Feb. 26

Join TABC staff virtually to discuss a draft rule for publication during a Stakeholder Meeting on Feb. 26, 2026, 10-11 a.m. Central time. This meeting will be held by Zoom only.

• Item 1. New Rule 35.7. Consumption of Consumable Hemp Products
  • New Rule 35.7 prohibits TABC licensees and permittees from allowing the consumption of consumable hemp products on all TABC-licensed and permitted premises where the consumption of alcoholic beverages is also prohibited.

It is TABC's intent to place this draft rule on the agency’s March commission meeting agenda so TABC's commissioners can vote to formally propose the rule and publish it in the Texas Register for public comment. After publication and a 30-day formal comment period has lapsed, TABC's commissioners may vote on adopting the proposed rule at a subsequent commission meeting.
