Veterans

TABC has a rich history in law enforcement. We highly value military veterans for the unique experience, skills and discipline they bring to their work.

In addition to giving veteran’s preference in the hiring process, TABC and our partners provide support to eligible Texas veterans who want to start a business in the alcoholic beverage industry. Learn more about how we support veterans within the agency and across Texas.

Hiring Veterans

We recognize the value that veterans bring to the workforce and are dedicated to creating opportunities for those who have experience in the U.S. Armed Forces. We are honored to serve those who have sacrificed so much for us. TABC strives to create a military-friendly environment and welcomes veterans and their families.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has designated a military liaison as mandated by Texas State Statute Chapter 657 Sec. 657.0046. To contact the military liaison, email tabchr@tabc.texas.gov or call 512-206-3220.
