Andrea Maceyra

Andrea Maceyra has served as chief of Regulatory Affairs since September 2022. Andrea previously served as interim director of both the Licensing Division and Excise Tax and Marketing Practices Division since Aug. 1. Before that, she was deputy director of Excise Tax and Marketing Practices.

Andrea began her career at TABC in 2014. Before joining the agency, she worked as a manager at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, giving her invaluable experience understanding the needs and challenges of Texas businesses. Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Texas State University and is a graduate of the Governor’s Senior Management Development Program at the University of Texas LBJ School of Public Affairs.
