Information Collected and Stored Automatically

TABC collects statistical information about web pages browsed or accessed on our website and information that may be downloaded for security, statistical, quality control and continuous quality and content improvement.

This statistical information contains no personal information about individuals who use or access the website.

TABC never sells or re-discloses the statistical information gathered from use of this website for commercial or private use.

The TABC web server creates a data record of all activity and access to our website, including, but not limited to:

  • TABC does not market, sell or re-disclose for commercial or private use any information provided to or collected by us.
  • TABC's electronic mail system collects email addresses of individuals who communicate with TABC by email. Email addresses of individual members of the public are not subject to public disclosure, and TABC will not disclose email addresses of individuals without authorization of the individual.
  • TABC's electronic mail and data systems collect information individuals send or attach to email transmissions or forms provided on the TABC website for use of individuals to voluntarily submit information to TABC. Some or all of this information may be disclosed or re-disclosed under the Texas Public Information Act; however, individually identifiable information will not be disclosed unless authorization is given for the disclosure.
  • TABC may use email addresses and information voluntarily provided to TABC to respond to or provide information directly to the sender, or to TABC staff who may respond or provide information directly to the sender.
  • All information, including personal information sent to and collected by TABC become records of a governmental entity. TABC is required to keep agency records, by record type for the period of time in the TABC Records Retention Schedule approved by the Texas State Library.(Government Code, Chapter 441, Subchapter L)
  • All information created, assembled or maintained by TABC is public information and is subject to disclosure under the Texas Public Information Act, unless an exception to disclosure applies to the information. (Government Code, Chapter 552)
